Eluwak first quarter newsletter 2011 |

The Eluwak chapter participated in over ten events this first quarter of the year.
- First was the December ordeal where we had 19 members at camp Trevor Rees-Jones helping set up winter camp.
- Our chapter had 11 members participate in the service project at Central Lutheran (where our round table is held) raking leaves.
- Then we had 15 members staff winter camp serving in these areas: Nature, Mountain Men, Service Corps, Scout Craft, and Indian Village.
- We had 24 members help serve dinner and clean up at our annual White Rock district dinner where several arrowmen were awarded there hat and patch.
- We had 18 members support our advance-o-ree where scouts are taught several merit badges. We served food, taught merit badges, and cleaned up after the event.
- We had 26 members help our scouting for food with transportation, sorting, and serving food. It was estimated that our district collect 30,000 food items for the White Rock Center of Hope.
- We had 12 members help the Elks Lodge distribute girl scout cookies to different girl scout units.
- We had 20 members attend Camp Wisdom March ordeal with 7 new members.
- We had 5 hours of service at this year’s pow-wow helping with the Native American classes and the elangomat training.
- We helped with a crossover ceremony and also held a Native American cultural demo celebrating a blue and gold.
- At pow-wow we took first place in the ordeal team competition. We also had one dancer participate in the pow-wow
- Also two of our ceremonialist take first place for their parts: Adam Koestner (Allowat) and Rick Garcia (Nutiket)
- Overall Eluwak helped its District, Lodge, and Council with a total of 1892 hours of service.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month. This is the same time as District Roundtable. We meet at Central Luthern Church on Easton Road, starting at 7:30pm _______________________________________________ |

- The eluwak chapter held a garage sale and made about $400
- We had many 1/5 of our chapter attend the august and paricipate as an elongomat or in the native american area
- We had 1/5 of our chapter staff summer camp at a Circle Ten Camp
